The volcanic ridge of Capo Grillo sinks to the peak with a vertical wall rich in life and colours, populated by anemones and starfishes, that make the visit of this part of the seabed an unique and exciting experience. The place generally enjoys excellent visibility and a light current; however, diving is suitable for those who possess an advanced level patent, because the points of greatest interest are located between 18 and 40 meters under the sea.
The parete della Sirenetta slopes gently under the sea from 16 to 40 meters, and is characterized by the presence of sulphur showerheads. It takes its name from a statue in the shape of a mermaid, that is located on a rock a few meters from the coast and hosts lobsters, sponges, scorpion fish and starfishes. Characteristic is the presence of a small inlet, that leads to an inner air bubble.
The dive at Capo Testa Grossa is suitable for more experienced divers, because it follows a vertical wall that falls steeply to a depth of 50 meters, making it the ideal environment for groupers, moray eels and octopus.
